Players handicaps are to a maximum index of 36.4 and fixed as of morning of Friday 25th October, 2024
There will be no more than eight shots difference in course handicaps between the two players in a team.
In the case there is a difference of course handicaps larger than 8, the highest course handicap will be adjusted to the team's the team's lowest course handicap plus 8.
The team's course handicaps (possibly adjusted as described) will be added together and divided by three and truncated to one decimal place for the purpose of this tournament.
Each team will play the course to their best nett score in this manner:
- Both players tee off on each hole.
- The Pair will select the best ball and both players will play from that position. The chosen ball shall be marked and players may play in any order. Off the green, all balls may be placed anywhere within 15 cm of the marker.
- This format will continue until the ball is putted into the hole.
- On the putting green the second ball shall be putted from exactly the same position as the original ball, and so on until holed. There is no penalty for putting with a marker in place.
- The gross score achieved shall be entered on the card for each hole. The handicap (to one decimal place) will be deducted from the total gross score.
- Local rules, as displayed on the day, will apply for the tournament.
- In the event of either day being unplayable due to weather the Tournament Committee will advise of any changes to competition format and prize allocation.
- The Tournament Committee reserves the right to amend any rules and all their decisions are final.
